Simple, easy to put together snacks benefit parents, children and families. Habits can make life easier to eat well for little ones. Grazing is a healthy eating pattern. Make sure that refined sugars are not part of the snack. Foods rich in protein and low in fat is the goal here. Nuts have many health benefits. Children should be encouraged to eat healthy. Healthy after school snacks will be appreciated by children. It can be demanding, but showing an early diet that includes good decisions are fed for life. Eating light does not have to cost more or have more time to prepare. Even the devout couch potato will be delighted with a quick and healthy snack.
